This hat pattern uses a variety of stitches and techniques throughout which makes it a great beginner project for someone who wants to try something new. It also keeps the project interesting and it goes super quick!

Uses seed stitch, left and right twist stitches, slip stitch colorwork and is worked in the round.

Daybreak was born out of a hat knitting marathon for my brother Fred who requested the colors and instructed me to “do whatever I wanted.” It’s the first design that I felt was truly “mine” as opposed to being a “frankenknit” or a reverse engineering.

I am very excited to offer my first for-sale pattern! If you do purchase the pattern and knit the hat and find any problems or errata or just have questions, please don’t hesitate to PM me here at Ravelry!!!!! If you purchase the pattern, I want you to have a fun and successful result :).
