Here is the baby to toddler version of the popular Mi Escuelita pattern. Because kids of all ages should look stylish and smart on their way to day care or school!

This cardigan was knit in Knit Picks Comfy yarn, and comfy it is. It was an extreme pleasure to knit with this yarn as it glides so smoothly through your fingers. The cables pop and the color is gorgeous. It blocks nicely and wears great.

Size: 3 mos6 mos, 12 mos, 18 mos, 24 mos, 2T, 4T, 5T to fit bust size 1617, 18, 19, 20, 21, 23, 25 inches. Shown here in size 5T.

Yarn: Knit Picks Comfy Worsted (109 yds & 50g per skein; 75% Cotton, 25% Acrylic), shown in colorway Marlin, 34, 4, 4, 5, 5, 6, 6 skeins

Needles: US 6 24” circular needle and US 6 double pointed needles; or size needed to obtain gauge

Notions: yarn needle, stitch holders, stitch markers, cable needle, five 1/2” buttons.

Note: The body of the cardigan is knit in one piece, back and forth to the armholes then set aside. The sleeves are knit in the round to the armholes on double pointed needles or using the Magic Loop method. All pieces are then placed on one long circular needle and the yoke is knit. Button bands, buttonhole bands and shawl collar are knit onto the garment later.
