Oh what can it mean to a daydream believer and a homecoming queen?

Named in honor of Davy Jones & a song that I still can’t hear & not sing along and be anything but happy:)

This Daydream Believer is a top-down, seamless raglan with a shawlette collar & mini-shawlettes at the cuffs (shawlettes & minis are knit separately & sewn to the garment after blocking). Instructions for a short-sleeved (cuffless) version are included. The button plackets are worked at the same time as the bodice, and you may place as many or as few buttons as you wish on the cardigan (or change your mind after-the-fact). Waist and hip shaping are done along princess “seams” at the fronts and back.

Due to the nature of the particular lace pattern, the collar folds above the seam at the back of the neck. I find that the fold actually feels cozy on the neck and also pulls the back neckline inward a bit. If, however, you find that the fold is a bit “floppy” (technical term…), you may wish to actually sew the fold into place to give it some structure.

The cardigan is intended to be worn with anywhere from 1” of negative ease up to 1” or so of positive ease. Both Charted and written instructions are provided for the lace collar and cuffs.

Finished bust measurements: 28.7(32, 34.7, 38, 41.3, 44.7, 48, 50.7)”.
