This yarn is made from Jacob sheep- a beautiful animal that is a primitive breed. This type of sheep has between 2-6 horns but it is most common that they have four.

This yarn company has a brilliant way of working- they source fleeces local to their landbase and use local mills. They provide the information on where the sheep was raised and how the fibre is unique and special.
This yarn is produced less than 200 km (125 miles) from where I live, making is a truly local fibre.

Carnelian is a stone that is said to be an empowering stone that enhances passion, love, and desire.
