Halos of Hope 2013 Designer Invitational Line

Pattern calls for corrugated rib technique and Fair Isle patterning. Chart included.

From the designer:

“There were 3 women who were instrumental in teaching me how to knit. My mother, a LYS owner, and a family friend, Debbie. Debbie, a knitter and mom to 3 grown children, bravely fought cervical cancer last year. Sending her cards, emails and a handknit shawl let her know she was constantly on my mind, but I wanted to do more. Being asked to be part of Halos for Hope made me feel like I could do more on a much larger scale. I designed and knit this hat in honor of Debbie, who sadly lost her battle in January, 2014. I thought of her with each stitch and wish that those feelings of hope, gratitude and love I have for this wonderful woman come to all who wear this design.”
