December Chill Cowl is a long and snug fit cowl that can be used as a snood as well. If you forget the hat you can always pull this cowl over your head!

In order to knit this cowl you need around 200m bulky yarn (category 5) and 8mm circular knitting needles with the 60cm cable. You must know how to knit in the round, knit, purl, and bind the stitches off.

I used Lion Brand Color made easy (one skein) for one cowl and Red Heart soft essentials (one and a half skein) for the second cowl.

Both of these yarns gave a beautiful drape and softness and these cowls feel amazing around the neck.

You can use your favorite bulky yarns or even hold two strands of worsted weight yarn together and make some beautiful cowls as a gift or just be selfish and don’t share them with anyone!!! :)

Thank you and I hope you’ll enjoy your December Chill Cowl!
