Budding spring leaves are the inspiration for this little cowl. It is knit in the round to hide the back side of the colorwork, and in fingering weight yarn it is the perfect layer for a little touch of warmth. Two skeins of fingering weight yarn will make two cowls when you reverse your main and contrast colors.

  • Yarn: Heavy-fingering or light-sport weight yarn in 2 colors, approximately 180 yards of Main Color (MC) and 140 yards of Contrast Color (CC); pictured in Laneras Beartooth (100% superwash Polwarth wool; 390 yards/100grams) in Pradera (MC) and Hazel (CC).
  • Gauge: 26 sts x 26 rows = 4" in pattern, blocked
  • Needle: Two 16" circular needles size US 5 (3.75mm); size US F crochet hook and smooth waste yarn for provisional cast on
  • Size(s): 22" circumference and 6.25" tall
