Inspired by Litmus, a knitted cowl pattern by Jude Harper, this striped crochet infinity cowl is perfect for those tiny nuggets of joy left over from finished projects, mini skein sets or a yarn advent. Striped
with a contrast colour, you can make this cosy cowl as coordinated or as scrappy as you want.

Jude’s pattern was named for the pH test strips that fill young minds with wonder as theychange colour in school science lessons. The litmus test in French is called a Test Décisif which I thought was a perfect, and very tenuous, link to the inspiration as well as myfamily’s links to France. Start it with a plan or pull the next colour at random, that’s the beauty of being Decisively Indecisive!

Profits from this pattern will be donated to MindOut, a mental health service run by and for lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, and queer (LGBTQ) people.
