The Decker baby blanket is slightly wider than it is long, designed to drape nicely over a stroller or car seat without having to be folded or stuffed under baby’s legs. It features a dropped stitch cable, a subtle spin on a traditional cable, which is worked on the wrong side of the blanket, just to keep things interesting! The dropped stitch allows the cable to relax, making a nice, flat blanket that is cozy without being bulky.

The pattern includes written instructions and a chart for the cable portion. This blanket can be knit with 3 skeins of Cascade 220 Superwash, but this does not account for knitters who like to leave extra long tails, or for a gauge swatch.
