FINISHED SIZE 4 1/2 inches at widest point, 5 inches tall

MATERIALS
Medium weight yarn in a velvet texture yarn and in a cotton yarn (I used Lion Brand Vel-Luxe in Emerald for the front panel and Paintbox Cotton Aran in Racing Green for back panel)
Yardage: about 15 - 20 yds for each color
Crochet hook G/4.00mm and H/5.00mm
Your choice of embellishments: ribbon, buttons, bows, scrapbook rhinestones, etc.
String (e.g. crochet thread) for hanging
Etc.

HOW IT IS WORKED
Panels are worked from side to side in single crochet stitches. The front panel is worked in a velvet yarn while the back is worked in a cotton yarn. Ornament is minimally stuffed and decorated with your choice of embellishments.
