Pattern Description from Cast On, November 2009-January 2010: “Here’s a project that’s great fun to knit! It’s comprised of two different stitch patterns, each using openwork. The upper portion is worked in a dainty eyelet chevron stitch. The lower portion is a combination of garter stitch and vertical eyelets. The collar is shaped by increasing stitches at the front edges as well as by changing to a larger needle size.”
