These gloves are a recreation of a beautiful pair of antique Estonian lace gloves I saw about 10 years ago. I loved the way the lace curved around the edge of the hand and the way the two different lace patterns interacted.

The sizes given are finished sizes, but the gloves are very stretchy, so the largest size could easily go up another half inch.

The pattern requires about 300 yards of fingering weight yarn, possibly a bit more if you’re using heavy fingering. I’ve made these in Dale Baby Ull and MadTosh Sock and they look lovely in both.
