I hope you will enjoy knitting Delores Doily! This pattern is a little tricky, as there is lace patterning on nearly every round. If you are looking for a challenging pattern that’s quick to knit, this is the doily for you! Delores Doily is based upon the Bleeding Heart stitch, a lovely vintage openwork motif.

You will only need about 100 yards of fingering weight yarn for Delores Doily. Wool or another fiber with give is suggested so that it will have enough stretch. DPNs or circular needles are required.

The inspiration for this design comes from the (un)popular Harry Potter series character, Dolores Umbridge.
