This super cute hat is knit from the bottom up. A fairly quick knit with a unique construction: it is begun flat, and then joined & knit in the round. This creates a longer back, which keeps the back of the baby’s neck covered and warm. The under-the-chin strap will keep the hat secured on the baby’s head, minimizing the risk of the hat being removed & tossed aside by the little duffer!

My favorite yarn to knit the triple peak hat is Madeline Tosh superwash DK, but any DK weight yarn will do!

This pattern is written only, with lots of pictures illustrating parts people may find tricky. Feel free to message me with any questions, if you find an error, or just need some clarification! I’ll be happy to help. Happy knitting! :)
