This small shawlette is worked in three colors with alternating sections of eyelets and garter stitch with short rows.

The shawl is worked from the center of the upper edge down. A circular needle is used to accommodate the number of stitches, but the piece is worked back and forth in rows.

It is not necessary to wrap the stitches at the short row turning points because any gaps will be concealed in the garter “valleys“.
