A Rounded Hipline
EXTREMELY youthful is this cardigan of novelty wool, which gives a boucle effect. The high pockets form part of the ribbed yoke and a rounded finish to the hipline accentuates the slenderness of the wearer. This jumper would look well in white, or any of the lighter shades preferred by the very young.
MATERIALS: 7 2oz skeins of curly wool; 2 No. 9 needles; 6 buttons. If 4-ply wool is used, 12oz wool and No. 8 needles.
MEASUREMENTS: Bust, 33-34 inches; length to underarm seam, 13½ inches; sleeve along seam, 19 inches.
TENSION: 6 stitches to 1 inch.
