This hat was inspired by and made for my good friend Mel, a bit of cuteness and a bit of funky sass all in one.

The cabling and ribbing extend seamlessly from the bottom and continue all the way to the top of the decreases. The brim is neat and easy with no special techniques involved. It is simply picked up and worked all in one in the round.

The plastic mesh canvas used as the brim stiffener can be found at nearly any major craft store, usually near the yarn section.
