Dew Drops Mitts
Simple yet fascinating mitts knitted in sport weight yarn.
Reverse Stockinette Stitch, a little bit of twisted rib, little drops of water or dew and voilà!
Size:
to fit average woman’s hand with 17.5-19 cm / 7-7.5” circumference around fingers.
Width (flat): approx 8,75 cm / 3.5”.
Length: approx 18 cm / 7.25” (without cuff); 24 cm / 9.5” (with cuff).
Materials:
Knit Picks Wool of the Andes Sport or any other sport weight yarn: Approx yardage - 180 m / 197 y,
Needles:
US 4 - 3.5 mm, double-pointed needles or circular (for magic loop technique), or appropriate size to get gauge,
Other:
some waste yarn or stitch holder,
stitch markers.
Gauge (after blocking):
26 sts and 37 rows in 10cm (4”) in Reverse Stockinette Stitch worked in the round.
The pattern contains written instructions as well as charts for dew drops. I also provided user-friendly tables for thumb increases, so that you won’t have to worry about your twisted rib stitches ;-)
