Glistening dew on leaves was the inspiration for this beaded cowl. Perfect for when the wind starts to get that chill in it, snuggle up in squishy garter with a touch of bling.
This beautiful cowl is a great introduction to beading your lace and has a few other interesting techniques to try.
Worked flat and joined with an optional picked up edging, there are so many options for customisation.
Choose iridescent sparkle, matt or solid-so many beads, you’ll soon be starting a stash to rival your yarn!
The stripes make great use of a variegated yarn, breaking up the colour pooling by picking out one colour as the solid complement.
The lace is charted and written out and there’s a photo tutorial for adding the beads, so all you have to do is settle on a colour combo and you’re off!
