In the early morning, dewdrops delicately grace the world, clinging to leaves and flowers, shimmering in gentle light. They bring a quiet beauty to the landscape, a subtle reminder of nature’s intricate magic. The Dewdrops Shawl was inspired by this magic. Worked with a blend of mixed techniques, this shawl aspires to recreate a little piece of the beauty of nature. Garter stitches, bobbles, and lace intertwine harmoniously in this two-color project. Worked with two lace-weight yarns held together (whether mohair or not) and adaptable in size, this delightful project invites you to create your own homage to nature’s beauty.

Yarn and yardage
Two lace-weight yarns held together, or one strand of fingering weight, in two colors.
MC: 340 yds (311 m)
CC: 400 yds (366 m)

If using two yarns held together, indicated yardage is required for each of them.
Yardage can vary according to the length you want to knit.

Sample measures 68” (173 cm) wide at top edge by 29” (74 cm) high at point and size is adaptable.

Difficulty
Intermediate: basic stitches, basic lace stitches, easy bobbles (tutorial).
Instead of working bobbles, this pattern can also be worked with beads.

Au petit matin, les perles de rosée caressent délicatement le monde, s’accrochant aux feuilles et aux fleurs, scintillant dans la lumière douce. Elles apportent une beauté calme au paysage, un doux rappel que la nature est pleine de magie. Le châle Perles de rosée est inspiré par cette magie. Il est réalisé avec un mélange de techniques variées : le point mousse, les nopes et la dentelle s’y entrelacent harmonieusement. Ce projet est adaptable en taille et il est travaillé avec deux coloris, chacun composé de deux fils de dentelle tenus ensemble (mohair ou non). Il vous invite à créer votre propre hommage à la beauté de la nature.

Laine et métrage
Deux coloris de fil de poids Dentelle (lace / 0) tenus ensemble, ou un fil de poids Super-fin (fingering / 1), en deux coloris.
CP : 311 m (340 vg).
CS : 366 m (400 vg).

Si deux fils tenus ensemble sont utilisés, le métrage indiqué est requis pour les deux fils.
Le métrage peut varier selon les dimensions voulues.

Note : plutôt que de tricoter des nopes, ce patron peut aussi être fait avec des perles.
