DEZEMBERLEIN is an unisex cable hat pattern. What do I really love about cables? Cables are timeless and modern at the same time and cables can appear 3-dimensional or just as a texture. To knit cable stitches is challenging for your brain and your hands and a hat with cables is a perfect gift for the ones you love!

The DEZEMBERLEIN pattern is a fast and fun knit, perfect for a last minute gift, if you have a skein of DK weight yarn in you stash. Having this deep green yarn in my stash, I was looking for a matching cable pattern without too many cable rounds. There is a seamless transition from ribbed brim to cable pattern and the crown decreases are part of the pattern too. The hat is worked up quickly and the pattern is easy to memorize.

The pattern can be used for a lovely beanie in adult size S, M or L. Use neutral colors, tonal or solid. The pattern is so addictive, I could not resist to knit three hats in one go! It is worked in the round from the bottom up. Directions are given for three sizes and written in parentheses as follows: Adult S (Adult M, Adult L).
