This pattern is written for two sizes of yarn, sports weight (S) and worsted weight (W). It is designed to fit an average size adult head.

Material: Approx. 100 yards (S) or approx. 85 yards of (W).

Needles: 16-inch circular No. 5 and No. 6 for S, 16-inch circular No. 6 and No. 7 for W. A set of double-pointed needles to decrease for the top in the same size as the larger circular needle.

Gauge: Sports weight 5.5 sts. per inch, worsted weight 4.5 sts. per inch.
