Lion Brand Notes:

The body of this jacket is comprised of 3 simple shapes: a square, a rectangle, and a long strip. The squares (4) and the rectangles (4) are knit in garter stitch on the bias, and the long strip (2) is simple garter st. Back = 2 squares top, 2 rectangles bottom. Fronts = 1 square top, 1 rectangle bottom. Long strips go between fronts and back under the sleeve. Specific piece placement is “Knitter’s Choice”. Sample has garter ridges/colors slanting in different directions on front (making a “square”) and back (making an “X”).

Hint: You can control the “striping” of the pieces better if you start each piece with the same color each time.
