The pattern is suitable for the intermediate or adventurous beginning knitter. The hat is knit in the round using seed stitch and cables. It uses Judy’s magic cast on and a cable cast on.

Requires 0.25yd (0.23m) thick sew-in interfacing for brim. Suggested stiffeners available at fabric stores:

Europe: Vlieseline or Vilene S 80
