Diamond Dogs Socks features a simple cabled pattern bordered by rib. Since there are only two stitches crossing each other at a time the sock is still stretchy enough without needing to add more stitches. Don’t let the chart intimidate you, it’s still a relatively simple pattern.

You will need around 300+ yards of fingering weight yarn. It would be best to use solid or semi-solid colors so the pattern doesn’t get lost. The sample was knit using 287 yards of Supernatural Yarns Pixie Sock in the color way “Cell Block C”.

This sock is knit from the top down with a twisted rib cuff and slipped stitch heel. The pattern is written for one size but you could knit on larger needles for a slightly larger sock. You could also add purl stitches between the repeats for a larger size.

This pattern has not been test knit so there may be errors. I have done my best to make sure everything is clear but if you have any question please let me know.

I hope you enjoy it!
