These gloves came to be out of my want to knit a stranded pair of gloves without the tedious commitment (to me at least) of carrying and managing two colors throughout the entire piece. Also, keeping the second color minimal really allows it to shine. I t’s perfect for those variegated yarns we’re always drawn to buy but then don’t know in which project to use them!

Worked from the cuff upwards, these gloves feature varied diamond motifs which use a several different techniques. Diamond Dozen were originally designed as a pair of full fingered gloves, but where’s the fun in only having one option? You’ll find modifications for fingerless gloves, topless mittens and mittens at the end of the pattern.
