The beautiful diamond drops stitch pattern gives a nice texture with an elegant look. I recommend using a solid color yarn for great stitch definition.

These socks are designed for magic loop (or 2 circs) and made with fingering weight yarn. Cool heel flap construction with no picking up stitches like traditional top down socks and no kitchener stitch. Fun and easy to make. I’m not sure I will ever go back to top down socks!

Recommendation: Intermediate Level, uses Judy’s Magic Cast-On. A tutorial can be found on YouTube at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gkyd3nq3Yn8.
