This afghan is created using a reversible technique. An overlay mosaic crochet version is available here: Diamonds Mosaic Afghan.

Snuggle up in your favorite chair with this cozy argyle-style reversible lapghan. It was made alternating rows of light blue and brown soft worsted weight yarn, using a combination of sc and long hdc which are worked into the previous row. The long hdc are worked with one color on odd rows and the contrasting color on even rows creating the reversible effect. A separate border is added on each side to enhance the reversible design. A design chart is also included for reference. Skill Level: Easy.
