The Diamond Lace Scarf is designed just for you to warm your day with elegance and style. Designed with a DK weight yarn to keep you cozy on the cooler days. This will be a favourite scarf to wear for years to come after all “Diamonds are a girl’s best friend”.

The Diamond Lace Scarf warms your day with a contemporary diamond pattern in a filet crochet technique. Perfect in any colour including neutrals, bright and bold or soft pastels. Add a contemporary touch to your wardrobe with the diamond filet crochet design finished with ribbing at each end.

Finished Measurements: Measurements of base of scarf before the ribbed trim at each end (section shown in the chart below): 15.8 inches / 40.10 cm wide by 4.5 inches / 11.40 cm high.

Gauge: Gauge is 9 sts and 5 rows in pattern using dc = 2” / 5 cm.

Scarf base: I used 1 skein DK 256 yards / 234 m per of DK weight. It takes about half of the skein to make one scarf. You can use most DK weight yarns for this design.

Crochet Hook: I used an H (5 mm) hook for the DK weight. You may need to use one size up or down depending on your tension.

Other supplies: Yarn needle to sew in ends.

Buttons: You need 3 buttons to fasten size 20 mm or ¾ inch.

Pattern Essentials: US terminology. Crocheted in the flat turning at each end of the row.
