This scarf uses geometric designs based on traditional Shetland knitting but with a modern twist thanks to the lovely multi-coloured sock yarn. The effect of the subtle colours with the scattered eyelets in the pattern give it a slightly stained-glass effect – reminding me of the dappled light which comes through old windows on a summer evening.
