Description

Mitered squares form the fabric of this sock which is worked from the toe to the top and features an afterthought heel and toe. The squares are almost the knitting equivalent of potato chips–difficult to put down the yarn and needles as you never seem to want to stop after knitting just one.

Tips

It’s very important to achieve the correct gauge–9 sts/1”. And, be sure to use itty bitty ends when joining new strands of yarn; no use wasting any of that precious handpaint yarn.

They also look wonderful knit with a solid color. The ridges give a textured look similar to that which is seen on Aran knits.
