THIS PATTERN NOW INCLUDES THE BABY & TODDLER VERSION AS WELL. If you are interested in both hat patterns, only buy the adult OR the baby version, as both patterns are included in the PDF.

During a Christmas time family visit, my eldest sister gushed about her love for Taylor Swift. While watching an E! True Hollywood Story about Taylor Swift I felt a connection with both her music, as well as herself—one of the reasons why she is so popular. I also noticed a red beret that she was wearing, during a visit to London. I loved the hat, and I now love her music, it is my guilty pleasure. So, to honor the inspiration she has provided me with, I created a knitting pattern for the hat.

Her Beret looks very slouchy, almost over-sized, so that is how I created this pattern. I have included two sizes, and the pattern now also includes a Baby & Toddler version, made with the left-over yarn from the Adult version. If using Cascade 128, which I have specified in the instructions, there is just enough for both hats.

Errata
This errata is corrected in the current PDF, so if you have already purchased this pattern, the file in your library should be automatically updated. If you have an older version the errata:

Rnds: H. P2, K4, P2; Rep from through end of rnd. I. P2, K4, P2; Rep from through end of rnd.

The chart is correct, but the written directions were wrong in the previous version of this pattern.
