These socks feature purled and knitted diamonds framed by cables. The pattern is written cuff-down and uses a 15-stitch repeat. The stitch pattern is on a chart.

If you are having trouble figuring out what I meant when describing the diamond during the toe decreases, the pictures here show what I meant by the last purled diamond being continued into the toe.

I wrote the pattern so that it does not require much stitch counting, but you will need to be able to read your knitting (recognize a purl and knit stitch on sight) and work off of a chart. Though you will probably not need the chart after the first or second time through it.
