This shawl measures 22 x 72 inches approximately, but can be made longer/shorter and width can be adjusted by changing the gauge. This shawl is made with fingering/sock weight yarn, but could also be made with lace weight yarn for an even lacier look.

The pattern is available both as written instructions and charts. The chart is in 3 parts, so you will need to print, then tape together. I suggest downloading both charts and written directions.

I have proofed and knitted the stole, but have not had anyone else test knit, so may have missed errors. Please leave me a message if you find any errors or if there is any confusion so I can edit and upload changes.

Note on stitch markers: If you are using the written instructions, I don’t recommend using them to mark off the right chevron, diamond panel, and left chevron since the markers would shift every right side row. I tried to write the instructions in such a way that each row would be easily memorized, but this doesn’t lend itself well to stitch markers.

If you are using the chart, you can draw vertical lines on it where you choose for stitch marker placement and not have to worry about any shifts in the written directions.

Enjoy!
