The Diamonds & Stripes Cowl is part of the Cast On Collaborative’s December of Designers, a fundraiser for suicide awareness. 50% of the sales from this design on the 24th December will go to PAPYRUS, an organisation in the UK that is dedicated to the prevention of Youth suicide.

After designing the Forage sweater I had a lot of the contrast colours left over, and decided to create this pattern as a way for knitters to use up their left over DK weight yarn either from the Forage sweater or other colourwork DK projects where they only needed a little bit of their contrast colours and so have been left with sizeable amounts of leftover yarn!

If you purchase this pattern with the Forage sweater you will get this pattern for 75% off no code needed (this will apply to past purchases so if you have already purchased the sweater and then come to get this pattern the discount should still apply when you check out automatically).

This cowl is a fun colourwork cowl for half of the pattern which then switches to stripes for the second half before finally grafting the ends of the tube together to create a tubular cowl! Its super squishy and with the doubled up layers of fabric its also incredibly warm and great at blocking out wind!

PAY WHAT WORKS

I have created THREE coupon codes so you can either purchase the pattern for full price, or with 20%, 40% or 60% discounts. I wanted to provide this pattern with a range of pricing options as I know not everyone can afford patterns at full cost. If you would like to support my channel and the work I am doing, and you have the means to do so then paying for this pattern at one of the higher price points is a great way to do that.

The listed price most accurately reflects the time and work that went into creating this pattern, however, if this is not financially accessible for you then please use one of the codes below.

20% off code - PWW20
40% off code - PWW40
60% off code - PWW60
