FINISHED MEASUREMENTS

  • Mittens are 8.5 or 9.5 inches circumference.
  • Stitch repeat counts are included for modifying the pattern to other sizes

MATERIALS

  • Yarn: 1 skein Alisha Goes Around Pulchritude of Peacocks DK (80/10/10 Superwash Merino/Cashmere/Nylon, 230 yards per 3.5 ounce skein) in colorway Ashes (Color A) and 1 skein Alisha Goes Around Stable of Horses Worsted (100% Superwash Merino, 200 yards per skein) in Naval Campaign (Color B) OR 150 yards each of two colors of multi-ply DK or Worsted weight yarn. (I have knit both the small mittens and a medium adult beanie from the same two skeins of yarn with leftovers. Just thought I’d share that.)
  • Needle: Size 7 (4.5 mm) circular needle(s) or DPNs or size needed to obtain gauge.
  • Stitch markers, scissors, stitch holder or waste yarn, tapestry needle.

GAUGE

  • 5 stitches per inch, 20 stitches per 4 inches.
