Diamonds Hood Cowl
Designed by: Kalliopi Aronis

I was inspired by loose hoods (think Little Red Riding Hood) and I wanted to design one with elegance and warmth. The beads give a touch of glimmer against the gold color and the double wrap cowl keeps the neck nice and cozy.

Size
Finished Size 14.5” high, 58“ circumference
I designed it to be very versatile, it could also be made without the hood, as a double wrap cowl, or even a smaller cowl if less stitches are cast on.

Yarn
Anzula Squishy
(80% Merino, 10% Cashmere, 10% Nylon; 375 yds 343 m/115 g):
Root Beer, 2 skeins

Gauge 24 sts and 37 rnds = 4” in pattern

Tools
Size US2 (2.75 mm) 40“ circular needle
Size 11 crochet hook
Size 6 beads (approx 250)
Markers (m)

Notes
Cowl is worked in the round. Then sts are BO for the cowl and the hood is worked flat on the remaining sts.
CLARIFICATION FOR HOOD BO: Work across the non-bound off hood stitches, which are live.
The end result should be an i-cord BO all around the opening of the hood.
