The next time you go to a board gaming night, don’t carry your dice around in a boring fabric bag. These bags can be made in different sizes to hold varying amounts of dice, figurines, tiles or cards, and of course any colour to match whichever game you are playing. You can use any weight of yarn, and just change the needle size accordingly.

Available in small (3”x4” good for a couple handfuls of dice) medium (5”x6” will fit several sets of dice) and large (7”x8” could fit an entire set of Scrabble tiles).

Partial proceeds from the sale of this pattern will be donated to Extra Life to raise funds for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. Extra Life is a fundraising event held every October where people play games (video, board, card or otherwise) for 24 consecutive hours. This year, 2014, I have started raising money through this event in memory of my older brother who passed away when he was 10 months old. He was treated at SickKids in Toronto, which is the hospital I am directing my donations to. I am not a gamer of any sort, but I support this fundraiser wholeheartedly.
