These easy fingerless mittens are made in two opposite colors to show contrast and are really easy to knit. Made in the round there is only a little basic colorwork involved to add some effect. Pattern contrains written instructions for everything and an additional chart for the colorwork part.

Skill level: easy.

Techniques: knit/purl in the round and flat, basic stranded colorwork, picking up stitches.

Yarn: 100 yards of color A and color B worsted weight yarn. The sample was made in Ofil Florencia. Purple is color A and yellow is color B.

Gauge: 24 stitches and 30 rows = 4” (10cm) in stockinette (US 6/4 mm needles)

Size: small / medium and medium / large

Tools: Size US 6 / 4 mm double pointed needles (or 1 long circular needle if you prefer magic loop) or size to get gauge; tapestry needle; scissors.
