These two Pokemon are perpetually buried within the earth with only their heads sticking out. Their true size is unknown to the pokemon world. Diglet, the small of the two pokemon, is the first stage of it’s evolution’s existence. While Dugtrio is the second stage of it’s evolution. Both enjoy dark places such as caves or burrows where they can dig and help the trees and plants of the area grow.

While three heads may seem like a challenge to knit together, I assure you that is not the case both pokemon were surprisingly easy to knit. These two are worked entirely in the round and involves picking up to close up the bottom. The only diffuclt part of knitting this pattern is the bind off that some beginners may find challenging.

This pattern is only 2 out of 151 of the Gotta Knit Them All: Pokemon knitting challenge that I am doing. Thus far, I have knit 14 out of 151 of the first generation of pokemon. Join me in knitting them all by visiting my pattern store or following my youtube channel, where I share with you my journey to become the very best that ever was.
