From the designer: This potholder is shaped like a catcher’s mitt, so that when it hangs on the wall it looks like a 3-dimensional pumpkin.

Difficulty level: advanced beginner

Materials:

• About 3 ounces of pumpkin-colored worsted weight cotton yarn,
• a few yards of green worsted weight cotton yarn,
• crochet hook size G (4.00 mm),
• one 1” luxite ring,
• yarn needle.

Gauge: Not real important for this project
