This delightful toy asks the age-old question: which came first, the dinosaur or the egg? In the end, it really doesn’t matter. Nestle your baby dino in the egg or let him run wild without it. Both options are just as cute!

KNITTED MEASUREMENTS
Dinosaur Approx 8”/20.5cm long and 5½“/14cm tall
Egg Approx 6”/15cm tall and 4½”/11.5cm wide

YARN
1 hank of 220 Superwash Aran in #1998 Aqua
1 ball of 220 Superwash in #887 Wasabi
Small amount each in #871 White, #815 Black, and #864 Christmas Green

Errata:
Waste yarn is suppose to be used to create the opening in the egg on rnd 45 (and not a BO rnd). The “egg” is worked as one whole piece while the bottom and top egg liners are worked separately. Please disregard the “Egg Top” in the book as the corrected “Egg” below includes this part.

I highly recommend this video from Rebecca Danger on working with waste yarn: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0YTYATKaoeY
