Your little ones will have so much fun with their dinosaur play set made especially for them! This set offers endless opportunities for imaginative play! Includes crochet instructions for both the mountain and the volcano … choose one or make both! The pattern also includes instructions for all 4 adorable dinosaurs, plus the tree and the nest.

This pattern is written in English and uses American crochet terminology. It includes lots of photos along with step-by-step instructions.

Materials
Worsted Weight Yarn plus fun fur for nest
3mm hook for dinosaurs and tree; 6mm for the mountain, volcano and nest
6mm safety eyes (if using)
Fiberfill
For the tree: A coin or other item to use to flatten the base, flat marbles to weigh it down, optional pipe cleaners for reinforcing trunk.
Tapestry needle, skewers for stuffing, straight pins, scissors

Size
Gauge is not important to this pattern. The size of your finished product will vary depending on the size yarn and hooks you use. Made with the materials listed, the mountain and volcano measure about 9-10” tall. The triceratops and stegosaurus are about 6” long, the tyrannosaurus is about 4” tall, the pterodactyl is a little over 2” tall.
• Using a thinner yarn and smaller hooks will yield smaller items. Using thicker yarn and larger hooks will result in larger items. An individual crocheter’s yarn tension can also be a factor in sizing as well.

Pattern Notes
The pattern is written for intermediate crocheters and beyond (mainly because of the type of terminology used and the special spike stitches used on the mountain and volcano). The intermediate crocheter is familiar with making amigurumi and understands basic amigurumi crochet terminology and stitches as well as how to sew pieces together, finish off, hide ends, etc. If you are not familiar with all the terms used in this pattern, there are a multitude of tutorials on You Tube that can help.
