A swingy, lightweight waistcoat with a relaxed fit & asymmetrical sides.
An easy knit for a beginner on the knitting machine, with pattern diagrams to help you see the shapes you are knitting.

The front/collar panels can either be left open or pinned together with a brooch or shawl pin.
Therefore sizes are approximate, & can be easily adjusted by adding more or less stitches to the front panels.

Materials - 1 cone each of Brittany & Lincot. XL took 300g.
Alternative textured stripe pattern given using all Brittany.

Knit on a Standard gauge machine without a ribber.
I used a Brother 881.
You will need a basic knowledge of casting on with waste-yarn, e-wrap cast on, picking up stitches, decreasing & casting off loosely.
