It might look like a complicated and/or time-consuming project at first glance but it actually is not. I too was misled because the first time I made it I had to continuously pull rows out and start again to get the shape that I wanted. However, when I made my second frog Naveen I surprised even myself with how straight forward it was.

4PLY yarn (I used Scheepjes catona yarn in colours 395 – willow, 404 – english tea
2mm crochet hook
Yarn needle
Fire retardant Fibrefill
Brown felt
White felt
Black felt
Green felt
Dark brown felt
Scissors
2-3mm craft wire (optional)
Pliers (optional)
Stitch marker (optional)

You can scales this pattern scaled up and down by using a different yarn weight and hook. Below is a guide of the various sizes that I have made:
Scheepjes Catona 4ply yarn with a 2mm hook: 9 inches long
Stylecraft Special DK yarn with a 3mm hook: 12 inches long
