I love the way that using two very different yarn sizes together always creates a visually striking effect. This scarf was inspired by a desire for a warm scarf that wasn’t really heavy. We get cold weather during the winter months, but rarely have enough cold for a full wool scarf. This light yet warm scarf turned out perfect for winter and the transitioning months when the weather is turning.

The pattern includes instructions for 2 very different ways to create the same fabric. The first set of instruction is for basic knitters. The second instruction is a quick intro into a basic brioche stitch. They both create identical fabrics and is a great way to transition from one technique to another!
