The combination of three fabulous colors of Harvest Fingering come together effortlessly to create this easy to fall in love with shawl. The delicate interplay of the linen stitch as it flows along to the eyelet trellis creates a wonderful piece of wearable art.

Take a moment to journey with the designer….
“Along the spine of the most storied of old city Istanbul’s revered 7 hills, runs a road that was once the way to rulers, be they Byzantine emperors or Ottoman sultans. The eastern end, today called Divan Yolu, is marked by an ancient column that marks ‘Mile 0’, the start of the road to Rome, the connection of civilizations.

My love for this crossroads, surrounded by the Hagia Sophia, the Hippodrome, and other artifacts of our ‘Capital of the World’, inspired this shawl. The texture of linen stitch like that of its cobblestones, colors that overlap and blend like the mosaics and the people of so many cultures along its way. Intersecting, yet not dividing. The shawl ends in a rippling curve, like the coastline waves flowing along the timeless Bosphorus nearby.“
