Divisionism Shawl

Divisionism (also Pointillism) Is the characteristic style of Neo Impressionist painting, defined by separation of colors into individual dots or patches which interact optically.

(Think Seurat and Signac)

Designed for 4 colors - 2 solids or semi solids and 2 variegates. You are highly encouraged to try your own combinations!

Main Body: Honeycomb texture of 2 row color stripe pairings. Pairings cycle through all combinations providing a lesson and ‘sampler’ to demonstrate how different colors interact.

Lower Edge: Simple lace (a modified Old Shale Stitch) cycling through the colorways at 4 row intervals..
