Diwali is an Indian festival of lights celebrated in India.
The pattern motif depicts an earthen lamp commonly known as ‘Diya’ in Hindi language which are lit in multiples in and outside the home in the evening to celebrate the festival. This motif can be used to make decorative bunting for doors, walls or as a wall hanging to brighten up your space and bring in the bright and cheerful festive spirit ! :)

Materials:

  1. Yarn Any yarn, any gauge works. The size of the finished piece will change accordingly and hook suggested for that yarn.
    Suggested colors: Flame--yellow & orange, Base--Any color

  2. Sewing needle and thread for sewing flame onto base
