You can really use any yarn and any double point needle that you like. I recommend wool in a DK or worsted weight and needles size 2-4 but it really is Knitter’s Choice here. The mittens can be scaled up and down by varying yarn weight, needle size and number of stitches cast on. Make the first pair for yourself….because your hands are right there in front of you. Then you will understand the construction and can make them from an outline drawing of someone’s hand.
